Add a site from the WebCheck dashboard by entering its name and public homepage URL. WebCheck normalizes the URL, creates sensible initial checks and schedules the first scan immediately.
Add the site
Sign in, select Add a site, enter a site name and enter a public HTTP or HTTPS homepage URL. The URL must be allowed by WebCheck network-safety rules. Credentials, fragments, unsafe ports and restricted destinations are not accepted.
What WebCheck creates
Quick setup adds an HTTP check and a DNS check for the homepage. If the homepage uses HTTPS, it also adds a separate TLS check. Later, you can edit an HTTP target to require or forbid a phrase in its server response.
Review the first result
The first scan is queued immediately. Open the site detail view to review the latest status, response timing, target list and any incidents. If there is not enough history for a completed uptime period, WebCheck labels the result as current availability instead.
Choose the next targets
Add public pages or endpoints that matter to customers, such as a login page, contact page, checkout page or API health endpoint. A login page can be checked for reachability, but WebCheck will not sign in or submit a form. Give each target a clear label so its results are easy to recognise.
