WebCheck versus a full SEO audit

Understand when continuous WebCheck monitoring is useful and when a broader NOTABIS SEO audit is the better tool.

WebCheck and a full SEO audit answer different questions. WebCheck repeatedly checks the explicit public targets you configure. An SEO crawler follows pages and analyses search-related signals across a broader part of the site.

Use WebCheck for continuous checks

Use WebCheck to check whether a homepage, checkout page, API endpoint or TCP service responds as expected. HTTP targets can check status and response timing, and can require or forbid a specific phrase in the server response. HTTPS requests also validate the TLS connection.

You can add a robots.txt or sitemap URL as an ordinary HTTP target to check that it responds. WebCheck does not parse those documents, validate sitemap URLs or inspect SEO directives.

Use NOTABIS SEO for breadth

Use a crawler when you need to discover URLs, follow internal links, inspect canonical and indexability directives, or review technical SEO findings across many pages.

A practical combination

Keep recurring service monitoring and periodic site analysis as separate tasks. A WebCheck phrase check is not a substitute for a crawler that understands SEO document structure.

What neither result guarantees

A successful monitoring run does not guarantee search visibility or prove every site page is healthy. An SEO audit is a point-in-time analysis and does not continuously check service availability.
