WebCheck applies the limits and feature access supplied for your account to sites, targets, check intervals, history retention and notification destinations. Those entitlements can differ by account and plan, so use the limits shown for your account rather than relying on example values in an article.
Features and intervals
Your entitlement determines which features are available and how many resources you can create. WebCheck prevents site, target and notification-destination creation when the corresponding limit is reached, and it rejects target intervals outside the range allowed for your account.
Why limits matter
An interval controls future scheduled target runs; it does not rewrite existing history or incidents. Each check type also has a minimum cadence, so DNS, TLS, domain-expiry and security-header checks may run less often than HTTP availability checks. A longer target or account interval can slow those checks further.
If a limit blocks setup
- Review the plan and entitlement state shown by Account.
- Remove an unused site, target or notification destination if appropriate.
- Choose an interval within the available range.
- Do not create duplicate targets to work around a limit.
- Contact the account administrator when the entitlement response looks wrong.
Important limitation
Plan values come from the shared Account service and can change. This article explains where limits apply; it does not promise that every account has identical values or features.
