Using the WebCheck status widget

Embed a safe public status summary, understand current availability and keep private monitoring details private.

The WebCheck widget is a public summary you can embed on your site. It shares status information, not the monitored URLs, check settings or diagnostic evidence in your dashboard. Review the site name and optional metrics before sharing the embed.

What the widget shows

The widget can show operational, degraded, offline or unavailable status, uptime or current availability, average response time and the last completed check.

Why uptime may say current availability

New sites do not have enough history for a completed-period percentage. The widget labels its provisional value as current availability until the selected period is complete.

If the widget is unavailable

Check that the widget is enabled and that its monitor token has not been revoked. Responses are cached briefly and rate-limited. The widget reads saved check results; it does not start a fresh check when someone loads your page.
